RESULTS OF SURVEY
SECTION 1 – WICK PAVILION
1. Would you like to see improvements made to Wick Pavilion?

2. Would you like to see a new kitchen fitted?

3. Would you like to see the main hall redecorated?

4. Would you like to see new separate male and female toilets?

5. Would you like to see improvements made to changing rooms?

6. Would you like to see more activities taking place at the Pavilion, such as yoga/pilates, art classes, keep-fit?

7. Do you think the Community Council should employ a part time caretaker/cleaner?

8. Would you like to see a community café opened in the Pavilion?

9. Would you like the Community Council to investigate better ways to provide heat and hot water such as ground source or air source heat pumps?

10. Are you in favour of activities that support our community such as the food hub and warm place?

SECTION 2 – THE PLAYING FIELD
1. Would you like to see a community garden built with raised planters for growing vegetables, new seating and tree planting?

2. Would you like to see the playing field used for team sports such as 11 a-side football or 15 a-side rugby?

Note: The Community Council would have to charge a minimum of £70 per match for marking out and maintaining the pitch and hire of changing rooms and showers.
3. Would you prefer to see the playing field used for activities such as touch rugby, mini football or mini rugby?

Note: This would be a ‘turn up and play’ activity with no charge. The Community Council would charge for use of changing rooms and showers if required
4. Would you like to see more use of the MUGA for activities such as paddle tennis or badminton or keep-fit/boot camp, possibly floodlit in the winter

5. Would you like to see a mobile phone mast located in the playing field to improve our mobile phone signal?

6. Would you like to see the parking area made available to the public?

SECTION 3 – VOLUNTEERING
1. Would you like to volunteer and help us clear overgrown areas around the pavilion?

2. Would you like to volunteer and help us get the community garden started?

3. Would you like to volunteer and help by providing specific skills such as building, plumbing, electrical, or carpentry?

4. Would you like to volunteer and help us with everyday tasks that will improve the overall look of the Pavilion?

SECTION 4 – MARKETING AND ADVERTISING
1. How do you find out what is going on in the village?

2. Do you think the Community Council should improve communication with people living in the village?

SECTION 5 – THE LONG-TERM PLAN
In the longer term Wick Community Council will investigate more ambitious plans and try to obtain grant funding wherever possible. This could include extending the building to create a larger main hall or kitchen, new showers and toilets and more storage space.
